Late Vintage Hárslevelű Sweet 0,75

Hárslevelű is the second main grape species of the Tokaj-Hegyalja, of which the wine was made by vintaging the clusters containing sleepy, aszú grapes beginning of November. Due to the directed fermentation applied in making the wine, it has more elegant acids than the Furmint and has a lightly smokey and slightly vinegary aftertaste. This fresh and young wine is characterized by its friuity bouquet resembling the blossom of the linden tree. One can taste a suave sweetness in it. It has a bright, glassy clarity in its color. We have bottled a wine presenting all the beauty of the Hárslevelű.
Recommendation: It is a great dessert wine where it is very important that the wine be chilled to 10 ?C for consumption. (Due to its high sugar content it is only at this temperature that all of the beauty of the wine can be enjoyed.) It is a great companion for the specialties of spicy cuisine and for fruit and citrus desserts.
